The Government of Tanzania has identified improvements of business environment as a key area for successful implementation of FYDP II 2016/27 – 2020/21 “Nurturing Industrialization for Economic Transformation and Human Development”. In a bid to improve Tanzania’s business environment, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment has prepared a business environment blue print which is meant to be a guide for improving business environment in the country. The objective of this meeting was therefore twofold (i) to reflect on the prepared business environment blue print for regulatory reforms and (ii) to discuss design of a program for monitoring business environment in Tanzania.
