Shadrack Wattai is an Independent Researcher, expert In Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a Reader in Education and Philosophy. His work explores the intersection of technology and human understanding, emphasizing intelligent systems, educational technology, and philosophical perspectives on AI’s role in society. He is also working on innovative projects like Shad.AI, an AI-powered tool designed to help postgraduate research students complete their degrees on time. His research interests include climate adaptation, indigenous knowledge, and digital transformation in educational and decision-making systems. He will speak on Democratizing Knowledge: AI and the Accessibility of Research Tools

Dr. Nfuka is a seasonal ICT expert with a PhD in Computer and Systems Sciences from Stockholm University, Sweden and a number of years of industrial and academic experience in area of System Analysis/Analytics, IT governance/management and ICT integration in education. Currently, he is an associate research fellow with ESRF and works with the Open University of Tanzania lecturing, researching and providing advisory services in computer science/ICT, and serving as the director of consultancy and outreach services. Prior to that, he was Director, Institute of Educational and Management Technologies overseeing the growth of ICT across Open University of Tanzania which operates digitally and has presence in all regions in the country. He will speak on the Future of Research Methodologies: AI-Driven Approaches and Human-AI Collaboration. |
